This chapter is better than the previous (at least to me anyway), and it also proved my earlier theory that Mayuri's drug basically overrides Giselle's control over them. I wonder if he's not only keeping them as his puppets for the reason he had said to Byakuya, but also perhaps he has more or less figured out a possible cure (which he may concoct and try out when the war is over, or at some point in between). At least I hope so, for whatever shred of conscience he may have deep down, and besides I'm sure he wouldn't pass up that opportunity to study on that and all. It's not like him if otherwise.

Poor Shuhei, is almost painful to watch his idol and captain pummel him to unconsciousness, more so when they're both not in control of their own bodies *winces* And I'm a little disappointed that the former Espadas' battles were cut short to a conclusion *huffs and pout* Though Cirucci's thoughtful expression at Mayuri's vague monologue about the contents of their blood was funny, especially when Mayuri knew what she was thinking that instant and cut whatever hopes he had against him short -that it won't work on him- with a roll of his eyes *snorts in amusement* (And Kurotsuchi looking all badass in a way when he said "Love doesn't work on my Zombies" to Pepe XD)

But overall it's not a bad chapter, and I'm glad Giselle's been dealt with, and we can hopefully move on ahead now.

(The ending gives me the creeps a little, I mean Liltotto looks like she's gonna eat Pepe there... which, ugh, no... :puke: )
