Original blank meme here :pointr: [link] by `fox-orian

Two artist I've +devWatch-ed (=Noiry and *orpheelin) have -almost at the same time- done this today and I thought I'd join in for the fun of it.

The images are arranged in almost no particular order, though. That, and a few of them are practically not really related to my current style and all. But who knows, I might change and improve from it.

Brief (yet maybe not so brief) explanation on each of the images (in random order):-

**Horses --The horses were my first drawing influence when I was a kid. They're my favourite animal, I suppose the admiration started when I had my first horse ride. I still love horses until now, albeit not as thoroughly obsessed as I was before (even my skills in drawing animals are horribly rusty).

**SailorMoon --my first exposure to the world of anime/manga when I was....I donno, 12 maybe? I drew Sailormoon fanarts and experienced drawing in anime/manga style for the first time then and it's been a major influence in my style since then.

**The Little Mermaid --since a child the movie AND basically almost all Disney-related movies were another one of the major influence in drawing. I'd say TLM has the biggest influence because I vaguely recall drawing a LOT of Ariels and random mermaid OCs than anything else.

**Dragon Heart --since watching the movie I started to love dragons with a passion and drew a lot of dragons and had a lot of dragon OCs in which my nickname Black Storm originated *lol* I still love dragons till now though, like horses, I can't draw 'em to save my life.

**Beast Wars --I used to love the old 80s Transformers as a kid, though I'd have to say Beast Wars were my favourite, I almost forgot I used to draw some fanarts of the characters -my crappy attempt at drawing animals and dinosaurs and robots whatnot. It was short lived. Basically epic fail. Period.

**Biker Mice From Mars --an old 90s series. One of my major influence in drawing anthros, which lasted for a great 8 years long (a fact that's still almost hard to sink in, I mean, holy shit, I've spent 8 years drawing nothing but anthros....not that I'm complaining, though). I saw the series when I was around 10, but only got obsessed with it again 6 years later. Aside from that, I believe BMFM was what got me attracted to lean build chiseled men in the first place.

**Biker Mice From Mars fanart by ~Morning1 --not only does ~Morning1's work was what encouraged me to draw anthros and BMFM fanarts in the first place, but her style was also actually what had influenced me into drawing realism and into the style I've been using now.

**BLEACH --My current major obsession and subject of drawing.

**Grimmjow fanart by RAE [link] --more of an inspiration and an influence but then and again since I got hit hard into Bleach I tried to draw like her (style wise) but...failed. Though she hardly draws BLEACH fanarts anymore, she still remains as my favourite influential Bleach fanartist and artist (even her realistic digital coloured works are astonishing it made me envious). I truly adore her 'aggressive' style, most especially on Grimmjow Jaegerjaques.

**:iconorpheelin: --her textured works was what influenced me to try experimenting with textures on my works lately.

**Photo manipulation (featuring my own manip work from here :pointr: [link] ) --though I like artistic photo-manipulated works, I never thought I'd have it in me to even attempt on it until art collage, where during my final semester we had a 'Digital Imaging' class, and to put it simply, it was a thoroughly fun and creative experience and it's a subject I even receive more praise than on anything else (from my lecturers/tutors, I mean). I had planned to make more for the fun of it after I graduated but...well, gradually I got super lazy ^^;

**Matte painting (image sourced from `tigaer) --though creating scenery ain't my forte, I admire matte paintings. I had my first go at it for my Conceptual Illustration class's matte painting project but failed miserably in the end, though it was a little bit fun, but I just lack the creativity.

**GrimmIchi (image sourced from a doujinshi cover "Punchi Drunk") --I wasn't really big into yaoi before (not that I was homophobic), but watching/reading Bleach and discovering the chemistry between Grimmjow and Ichigo -and BAM!- sort of changed my world, in away and I started to appreciate yaoi more and eventually picked up the courage to draw yaoi when I loved the pairing far too much to not draw them at all. My point is, GrimmIchi was what influenced me to draw yaoi (although admittedly I've done a few pics of an OC slash pairing between me and a friend's OC long before GrimmIchi, but the feeling was a whole different level, so to say).

**[Random oriental illustration I've dug through my old collage assignment research/reference back ups] --another type of style I admired. Kinda introduced to it in collage and we were taught the technique to create it (the lecturer called it 'romantic style' *lol*). But alas I failed, somewhat. Long story *le sigh* But I've forgotten the technique to create it (not that I've never tried my hardest when I tried to go it for one more time a couple of months ago, but it all ended in epic failure -to put it simply- and I gave up).

.....Phew.....I didn't expect to ramble this much, I tried hard to make it super brief like =Noiry and *orpheelin had done on theirs, but.... *headdesk*
