GRIMMJOW: Found ya

Ichigo sighed contently as he took off his shoes and let his feet dip into the soft white sand. This was heaven. Fresh air, tinted with the salty scent of the ocean, the serene view, and above all else...peace.

No school, no homework, no putting up with eccentric whiny Keigo or Orihime's food, no Grimmjow.... he felt the vein in his forehead throb at the latter. Yes, no Grimmjow. That foul impulsive, violent, sadistic, crude, horny catfish was a bane to his entire existence. He should have known better than to let his fascination for him, ever since he saved his life at a beach back home in Japan, get the better of him and let him in his life.

Shaking his head to rid off all those thoughts and memories, he settled from frowning at the sand as he walked to stretching himself and looking up at the blue, almost cloudless sky, and breathe in. This feels great.

He jolted as his foot caught on a jutting rock and reflexively caught his balance. "Ow, shit," he cursed and before he could examine the bruise on his left toes, a movement caught his attention. Looking up, his face immediately paled as soon as he recognize the figure lying a few feet away from him.

"Yo. Took yer long enough to notice," the bane of his life spoke, in a tone riddled with amusement as if he had been watching him the whole time. If his smirk was any obvious indication, or the amused gleam in his eyes.

"G-Grimmjow? How did you kn......" his voice trailed off as his numb-struck mind finally computed "YOU SWAM ALL THE WAY TO AUSTRALIA FROM JAPAN?!" he let out a manly shriek.

"T-That can't be possible, we just arrived last night!" he stared at Grimmjow incredulously, until something clicked in his head. He hadn't seen neither hide nor tail of Grimmjow in the last few days before his departure with his family.

Grimmjow shrugged nonchalantly, his amused smirk still in place "Yer should find a better place to hide the tickets next time".

Ichigo face palmed with a groan. Epic fail of the century.

Originally intended to colour it but....I hated the result, and decided to experiment on manga-like toning sorta as a last resort (since I don't feel content with just posting the lineart itself). I am pleased with it, so far (as a first attempt)......except for the background *horribly fails at backgrounds in general*
